Guide to walking paths and bicycle routes on the Polish-Slovak border
The project is financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget through the Euroregion ‘ Tatry ‘ in the CBC Programme Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic 2007-2013.
The ERDF funding 85 % of the total eligible expenditure micro . Municipality Łapsze the Low pledged to bring their own contribution in the amount of not less 5.00% of the total eligible expenditure micro . Co-financing from the state budget is not more than 10.00 % of the total eligible expenditure micro .
The project is the answer to the lack of information available infrastructure of a pedestrian and cycling on the Polish – Slovak border . Information about the existing pedestrian and cycling infrastructure on the Polish – Slovak border are less prevalent among locals as well as tourists who visit this beautiful region .
The infrastructure is very well developed, lacking only a good sound system and the information paper and electronic- media on this topic . The project aims to inform about the availability of existing pedestrian and cycling infrastructure , thus , actively spend their free time inhabitants of the region as well as tourists .
The project meets the expectations of modern and traditional tourists.
As part of the project:
developed the mobile application as a guide along the routes for pedestrians and cyclists. A tourist can download the applications from the www.przewodnik.lapszenizne.pl and install it on their mobile devices ( cell phone , smartphone , tablet ) . The application developed in four languages ​​( Polish , Slovak, English and German) , contains detailed information about the flora and fauna of the region as well as cultural curiosities are often not written down and telling about the culture being of people living in this area in the ancient , map GPS with voice information about points rest , information about interesting places in the paths and information about the place where the tourist,
made brochures and maps indicating the project and the existing infrastructure for pedestrians and bicycle border Zamagórza Polish – Slovak
www.przewodnik.lapszenizne.pl created a website which is an electronic database of information about walking paths and bicycle routes in the Internet
developed and deployed plates with QR codes – a tourist to learn more devout place , will be able to use the app and scan the QR code selected ,
made a video of selected paths for pedestrians and cyclists.
The project involves a joint venture aimed towards the dissemination of information on walking – cycling infrastructure in the border area of Spis Polish and Slovak , which are aimed at the development of contacts between the inhabitants on both sides of the border and to form a joint tourist offer allowing to strengthen the economic potential of the area .
The overall objective of the project involves the dissemination of information on walking paths and bicycle routes , which in turn will influence the development of tourism Polish -Slovak border area. The specific objectives of the project is the development of cross-border cooperation in the dissemination of tourism of the Polish- Slovak border , which will contribute to improving the attractiveness of the tourist area and create the conditions for further development of tourism .
